KIDS ROUTINE CHECKUP

The purpose of a health maintenance visit is to assess the overall health of your child as well as to give anticipatory guidance. This includes following his or her growth, development and emotional well-being, as well as screening for any hidden health problems and immunizing against certain infectious diseases.

This is the best time, rather than at sick visits, to discuss routine concerns about behavior or development. More complex or involved problems may require a separate visit to allow adequate time to address the problem thoroughly. Our goal is to provide good care while meeting all of your child’s needs.
